Busy, Busy August
August, often referred to as the dog days of summer, is a month of transition -- from
play to work, from summer to fall, from taking it easy to full speed ahead. All this could make for a pretty
busy schedule. With so much to do, it's easy to forget something, maybe something important. Here are 3 online
tools to help you organize your busy life:
Google Calendars -- Share you schedule
with friends, family and co-workers so they know when you're available. Remind yourself of important events
or when bills need to be paid. Use the mobile version to take your calendar with you wherever you go.
Remember The Milk -- Manage tasks and
set due dates. Create lists and notes for different tasks.
Evernote -- Type a text note, clip a
web page, snap a photo, grab a screenshot and Evernote will organize it automatically and make it
searchable.
You might want to make some entries for August right now like having a garage sale to to clean
out your house before the holiday season arrives in less than 4 months!!

Save Money
On Baby Buys
Babies are outrageously expensive. Bottles, diapers, strollers, beds, clothes, food, all add up
to a small fortune. Perhaps the only thing more expensive will be their college education which, of course, you
have to start saving for the minute they're born. You can save on many things at thrift shops or resale shops,
but let's face it, there are some things you don't want to buy used. We've discovered some online places to
help new mothers or soon-to-be mothers save.
Baby Half Off -- From diaper bags to
baby slippers, brands you know and some you've never heard of, this site offers daily deals at half price.
Of course, not everything will be a deal even at half off, but for things you NEED, you could find some good
savings here.
Mamma Bargains -- Another daily deal
site with a twist. They offer one deal until it's gone then another and another and another, all day long.
Keep your eye out here for maternity and nursing items as well. They often have name-brand big-ticket items
at prices you probably can't find anywhere else.
Baby Steals -- Still another daily deal
site that tends to offer high-end brand-name items that parents can't get enough of.
Amazon Baby Store -- An all time favorite for everything baby. Amazon always delivers quality and great customer
service in addition to free shipping for orders over $25.00. Also great for
baby care items like diapers, wipes, formula, shampoo, etc.
